Hello everybody. I'm newbie here :) I have a problem with Dell inspiron M5030 - AMD cpu, amd graphics, etc. However, when pressing power button, there are 7 beeps (cpu or motherboard..) I swap the cpu - problem exist. Reball the gpu - problem exist. Buy another gpu and replace it - 7 beeps missing, but now I have 2 beeps, which means memory fault. Swap memory - no result. Memory controller is in cpu - swap cpu again - no result.. Can someone give me a Joker :) Thanks in advance. Regards, |

Unsuccessful replaced the GPU, or it was nonworking. |

Hi, I think so, so I pull out the same IC from working motherbord. Same result - 2 beeps. There are no broken pads under the chip. |

HI! I had such a laptop. Also 7 beep. After the warm-ic has 2 beep. Hence the conclusion of the video chip is not working. |

Hi, thanks for reply. Yes, I think that too, that's the reason I pull out the chip from working motherboard, but the problem exist. The coil that give memory power is ok, another ic, who cares for power supply's are ok. I think it's something very small, but I can't find it. |

latitude, write down PLATFORM !!! platform definition 2 beeps - RAM. 7 beeps - CPU. But usualy it is chipset (North Bridge) /BIOS. |

Try to change CPU, RAM. 2 beeps - RAM and there it is connected directly to CPU. Also check 1.5V/0.75V RAM power and 3.3V RAM SPD power. |

Check it. All voltages are OK. Test with different cpu and memory - same result. |

In this model, GPU and northbridge are in one chip 216-0752001. The problem is very strange, cause first time, when I get the laptop, there was 7 beeps. After reballing, hanging gpu, there are 2 beeps. |

Try to check read SPD ic on memory? Or somewhere didn't contact (NB, socket) |

Would u use power supply with Ampere meter? If not try by that and write down Amperes shown. I think N/B not working, but I am not sure, I can be sure by instruction said to u. If u change N/B and new one is OK, so there is some bad ball Under the chip. Rework It, What is your BGA Machine? |
