Laptop brought (Dell studio 1557) with overheating problem. after checking pad and silicon paste I want to update bios, but I could not update it from windows because of error ( .......not flash-able..........). I want to update it by IC programmer, there is 2 type of ICs( 1MB,4MB). I extractead bios file downloaded from dell website, so there is single 5MB file, how to generate 4MB and 1 MB file from this file?
