Hi, I'm trying to repair this laptop that doesn't want to start.

Not responding to power button. (I can see a slight difference in current consumption on osciloscope display, when I push power button or any key from keyboard)

Someone bring it to me, saying that that laptop hung while updating the bios.

Bios chip was completely erased. (I.C. UH2, (W25Q64FVQ) all in FF) (SPI ROM FOR ME ( 8MByte )

PCH bios chip (UH2) has been reprogrammed with external programmer, but I don't have a programmer for KB9012BF.

Is it possible that EC bios in embedded controller (KB9012BF A4) will also be erased?

Is there a process to recovery the EC bios? (Fn + esc, win + b, etc)


Any comment will be helpful.

Thanks, but EC bios is inside embedded controller (KB9012BF A4), I should buy a programmer, but customer wants his laptop to be repaired in a few days, and all people are on holidays.

Any other suggestion?
