This model has a peculiar issue, the charging indicator glows orange but battery does not charge and the other issue is that when A/C charger is inserted [without battery], the system runs on the A/C charger, but when the battery is inserted whilst the A/C charger is already plugged in, the power switches to the battery [A/C charger power on motherboard is disconnected] and the system runs on the battery alone.If the battery is taken out whilst the A/C chager is plugged in, the system powers off.I have replaced the charge IC [BQ375] but problem still remains the same. Any help in the right direction as to which pins on charge IC to check will be appreciated, as there is no schematic for this model. |
