Hello there, i have here a PNY GTX1080ti with a strange issue. the NCP81274 makes no 2v ref out voltage. 5V VCC and enable are present. 1.8V and 5V on card also normal. ther is no short in the ref. voltage line (30k ohms) but controler does make nothing. i have also already swapped this controller - but error still present - controler makes nothing. What can happened? |

I have measured out some new NCP81274 i ordered before... in the datasheet under NCP81274 Functional Block Diagram - we can see that the vref is generated directly with VCC - so when i add GND and 5V VCC - i must have a VREF voltage. but nothing...on a new device! i have also some NCP81174 here, it have the same Functional Block Diagram, and here, i have instantly 2V VREF when i add only VCC and GND to the chip. what happened here? is the NCP81274 controller much different from an 4 channel controller like 81174? A almost equal UP9511P (some pins other) works also like the 81174 - VCC +GND = 2V VREF out |
