Hello guys,

I have a vega 64 stuck in safe mode.
Here are some screenshots of GPU-Z.
Notice a peak in power draw in one of the screenshots!

Any help would be appreciated :)

Ok so I did some further testing...
PX_EN is fluctuating between 0.65V high and 0V low, and IR35217 has been reflown by a previous technician, which indicates it might be damaged.
Could it be that the core is detecting a fault in the output of IR35217 and trying to restart the PWM controller ? Or could it be a dead core? Usually PX_EN goes missing but here it's fluctuating! Weird.

I'll try to swap the IR35217 and reprogram it then I'll post an update in 2 weeks.

You will not swap it. It is programmable PWM controller. Please post image from oscilloscope from chokes. How do they look like?

Unfortunately I don't have an oscilloscope. I will replace the PWM controller. Don't worry, I have the proper software to program it ;)

You need an Infineon I2C USB Programmer USB005, and you need the proper license for the powIRCenter software.
