Hello I have Rtx 2080 and the problem is explained below. Gpu boots up and works perfectly on load without any issue. But when i turn off my computer and turn on again after short time it do not gives display. When i turn on pc after 8 to 10 hours it gives display and works again perfectly. Its passing Mats and not giving errors on any memory bank. Please tell me what could be the problem with my gpu. |

Bad bios chip maybe? |

I also suspect bios chip. Is there any way to check it before replacement? Posted after 2 hours 35 minutes 49 seconds: I checked with multimeter while no display it gives 3.2v on 5v inductor. |

3.2v on 5v rail and short on pex. |

Are you sure that you are measuring everything correctly? What is pex resistance? |

You don't have to replace the vBIOS chip. You can hook it to a CH341A and a test clip to read the contents and compare them to some vBIOS image on the internet. But first I recommend you to check if everything is being powered with the correct voltage. Perhaps you have a bad chip. Posted after 1 hour 11 minutes 34 seconds: I searched around the internet and found a BIOS file. I'll attach it. If you are gonna flash it, please backup the content on the chip, it is very important if my file doesn't work. |
