Hello from Poland, we have a lot of problems with Apple 820-2915 motherboards. Usually there is a problem with graphics (artifacts) on this motherboard. It is ATI 216-0809000. Originally it is DC11 chipset. After heat it - Macbook start ok and work. So we replace chipset to the new one DC12 and DC13 (chipsets are 100% new and original). After it Macbook starts, give sound signal, but screen remain black. Don't run properly. So we back to original chipset - Macbook start ok. Question: Do you have any information about compatibility new chips? Is it chipset firmware problem, EFI problem, revision problem or chipset ID problem? Any information will be helpful.

a lot of problems exactly with 0809000. i have these problems too. it seems that they are remarked in all stocks.

well, as far as i know, there's a possibility to install ati radeon 6750m instead 6490m, but logic board needs to be modified to work properly.

Yes, I know. But other chipset - more chance to incompatibility... And additional work with configuration with resistors.
