Hi, I failed to flash the SMC of my macbook pro 8.1 Late 2011 i5 2.4Ghz Now i'm unable to boot, i can boot with SMC bypass and fan running full speed. With SMC bypass i cant re-flash, its not working. Even with rEFIt ASD 3S148 says "error 39007 smc communications error" x3 times How do i reflash the SMC? Macbook pro 8,1 Core i5 2,4 GHz MBP81.0047.B2C SMC: 1.62f7 (WRONG SMC) Thanks! |

You need to reflash manual whith working dump EEprom 64MB,if no solution you need to change the SMC. |

No cheap solution, only replace SMC |

How I replace the chip? And where to buy it? It must be pre-programmed no? I don't know the eeprom solution.. |
