Hello Tired of bad CCFLs and their constant replacement I got LED driver with strip from china. After installing it works great and even now after a year the picture is bright as on day one. There is a problem though, LED driver use inverted backlight meaning it needs to decrease brightness to be the max. Now I managed to make a small hack of GPU driver in linux so the brightness increases when you actually increase it, and want to make similar adjustment in BIOS too. As I read somewhere, some BIOS usually have an option to invert backlight but no idea if this specific machine BIOS has it or where to dig. If somebody already made something similar please share what to change. |
