Hi everyone, this laptop came in with burnt capacitors near PQ105 and shorted PQ102. After repalcing I noticed 19v present but no 3.3v or 5v present and no short-circuit. PU301 has only 19v going to pin16 and 4.5v on pin 13 but all the rest of the pins have 0v so I suspect the ic to be faulty.The ic has EM J7 written on it. I suspect it to be similar to TPS51125 but I want confirmation. Thank you. |

Hi everyone, I replaced the faulty chip with TPS51125 and it worked..  . The problem with the laptop was short on 19v RAIL. The faulty components was shorted caps around PQ105, shorted PQ102 and faulty PU103 which I replace with TPS51152. Hope it helps someone since there are no schematics for this model..
