Hi Im working on a DA0r76MB6D0 board no schematics only boardview available but using Quanta r7x schematics.
The unit was originally dead no adapter light no response from powerbutton.
Changed bios file but chip kept failing verification so changed bios chip and tried original bios ,same thing. Replaced sio same so tried different bios and board responds to powerbutton and only draws .2a and black screen, cpu gets warm. Laptop switches on by power button (draws .2a) but will not switch off again not matter how long the button is held.

kbc_rst 0v, а должен быть высоким. Его должен поднять HUB , или он мертв или что то не так.
kbc_rst 0v, and should be high. It should raise a HUB, or he's dead or something's wrong.

Hi yes but as there was a definite bios issue I didnt suspect the FCH to be faulty also , what conditions need to be present for FCh to output kbc_rst ?

Both are 3.3v after button press

Draws .2a (200mah) as im using a bench supply so I can see how much current is being drawn. Is there a block diagram of this Apu available that will list the order the signal should be present in?

Apu is am50000ibj44hm. no FCH in this model.

back to the problem in the PCH chip is, it is a fact, the Condition for removing signal reset following
1. all power must be present.
2. The presence of RTC Clock and the SYSTEM Clock (check with oscilloscope with high impedance probe 1:10, or the touch of the probe to quench the generation and you'll see nothing)
3. System bus request is sent and response is returned on the readiness of peripheral devices.
If the bus is in doun (someone from the periphery dead, and does not give it up) will not be reset in the high state. From all written to be what you need postkarte and consistent removal of network codec, card reader , audio, USB3 and polec each operation to check the status of the reset and the presence postcodes.
