Hello friends,

this board came dead with no signs of life, diagnosis reveals a shorted IT8587E-EXA, shorted u5202 (G547E1P81U), dead u8100 (TPS51225C) with some bad traces around it..

replaced IT8587E-EXA with FXA and programed, G547E1P81U replaced with uP7534A15, bad traces was restored and new TPS51225C installed, both BIOS chips flashed

now the board came to life with autostart, all voltages rises except +VGFX_CORE at L8001 and there's no init

resistance at L8001 = 3.5 ohm, L8000 = 4.6 ohm

injected 0.7v/2A in L8001 for checking, the consumption is 0.345mA

the board does not respond to the power button and autostarts, new cmos battery installed, checked D2001, replaced X2001 & X2103 doesn't help

restoring the original backed up EC dump leads to a cyclic start

where to dig ?

The backed-up PCH dump leads to a cyclic start not the EC, I've edited the dump and it looks like it's corrupted

Update:
While missing around with the bioses, I've edited and compared the downloaded dump from the site with my back-up and found that the downloaded bios from here download/file.php?id=90203 and kbc firmware from here download/file.php?id=108383 has the model number (P55-A PSPMEU-00G002) while my back-up has the same model printed on the chassis (S50-A PSKJSU-00P008) so I've cut & flashed kbc firmware from my back-up and got the official v1.3 bios from toshiba, cut it to 2 pieces (main/pch), cleared the ME and flashed all of them but situation doesn't change..

Autostart and no init and no response to the button

sounds stupid but I've tried to flash VGFTG's bios instead of VGFT, the behavior changed, no autostart and there's a response to the button but ofcurse CPU/RAM voltages doesn't rise and so no init..

I'll post my backed-up dumps and the v1.3 that I've cut from official bios, hope someone could check and fix them
