Hi I have a L770-14c 69n0y3m1gb01-01 BS_R/TK_R rev:2.1 P/N:08N1-0NA1Q00 I cant locate a schematic or boardview for this model. Initially laptop was dead I found a short circuit capacitor on the 19v line after removing unit powers up for 1 sec, draws .5a current then shuts off again. I checked all the coils and no short circuit. the only issue I can find is the capacitor in the picture (2) is reading short circuit and when lifted short circuit is still on the pads. This is with or without a cpu present. I cannot locate the source of the short and injecting power into it doesnt cause any component to get hot. Any help is appreciated. |

did you already checked the output of N-Channel mosfet ? for the illustratiion, see below picture: below picture is Edwards Power Block Diagram (HP Mini 110 Schematic), Вложение: edwards.JPG
