Hi , i have change motherboard on a vpcs13C5E (mbx216) , i have replace by a same motherboard but comes from a vpcs132FX , it works well but dvd recovery doesn't works . I would take the information from the old motherboard (serial-type and uuid) to put in the new. I tried to swap bios chip and me in the bios but nothing changes.  Which components are listed information ? thank you for your help . best regards |

It in BIOS Dump usualy. Do full dump and search your serial in HEX editor |

Hi i found machine name and serial in ME bios (U23) , i have change it it's ok , but i can't find UUID . Can you tell me where is UUID ? Вложение: dump me.rar

UUID 16 HEX numbers. First 8 had changed direct order in your file (compare by your image) |

Sony is very strange laptops. Recovery DVD's doesn't work an unknown reason. Install the OS from ordinary DVD then install the drivers and software from vaio site.
