Initially got this laptop with no sign of life. No 3v nor 5v. Changed PU2 after testing with PR29 off. Upon start heat the PU2. PR29 off again, injected 3v, 1amp at PD12 resulted in heating KBC. Replaced KBC, soldered PR29 and connected to adapter. battery led lit for first time but very weak, connecting the battery the led gets stronger but flashing. No component heating. Made the measurments that where suggested through thread. PU2 pin 1=0v pin 3=2v, 740 ohms to GND pin 6=0v pin 8= 3.3v, 380 ohm to GND pin 9= 4.5v pin13= 1.66v pin16= 18.5 pin17= 5 v, 550 ohm to GND pin 22= 4.5v PU9 pin6 to GND= 550 ohms PL4 to GND=110 ohms PL5 to GND= 330 ohms PQ34 pin 1,4,5,6=0v pin 2,3=5v PU10 pin 1= 4.65v pin2= 4.3v U5 KBC pin 15=0v pin 19=3.3v Started the device, i get solid green power-on led, but no fan spin. The on led goes off after about 10 seconds. Noticed heating U11 which is Audio Codec ALC269Q. Chip heats only when power on. Further check with power-on PQ12 1,2,3,5,6,7,8= 3.3v 4= 13.1v PQ14 1,2,3,5,6,7,8= 5.1v 4= 13.1v PL6= 1.87v PL7= 1.05v Removed ALC269Q, C207 still same symtom, now with heating and whistling U8 JMC261. No fan spin. Question is where the culprit is?. |
