Sony's protection circuits are hard to troubleshoot. It is involed too many
components.
The problem was about AC_OFF.

hello i have a sony f1 mbx-235 that do not power on. i check it this motherboard was short by one capacitor on cpu pwm circuit that i remove it, now it is ok.(not short more). now i have 19v on PQ1(first mosfet) but second mosfet (PQ2) do not transfer the voltage .(both mosfet are ok) i think the problem is about System scp protect but i do not know it. is there any body help me. thanks. |

Plug in the LBP and see what's heating up |

ahkh_72 For reset OPV: Find OVP jumper or Remove CMOS battery, short CMOS battery contacts. or Remove CMOS battery and wait 10-20 minutes. |
