Hi, Is there a way to autoprograming the ITE8586 chip?

The programmer shows an error and can't reprogram it:

Check connection ...
Number of VCOM ports found on the machine: 1
Programmer FW version -> ITE2 24_06_17
Communication with programmer installed.
The programmer is found and ready to go.

Ñonnect the adapter and continue!
BUSY error ID read!

At first try I could read an program it.

I wrote all "ff" thinking that at first boot it would take good data from bios, but it did not.

Is there a trick to force it to get its data from bios?

Some strap resistor in the appropriate place?

Thanks in advance.

If 3VALW is missing, programming is not possible.
Remove pr337. Install 10k between 5 and 1 pins pu904.
If the controller is clean, then it must be flashed by itself.

Thanks for your quick answer.

3VALW is present, but +3VS at pin 11 of ITE is mising.

Before programming a file with all "FF", +3VS was present.

This process is posible in asus motherboards, and it reprograms itself.

I don't know what makes the difference between asus and lenovo boards. (probably a resistor strap in ITE chip)

Seems that this board have the same reprogramming function for ITE chips as Asus motherboards.

I've found the strap resistor for that function.

Pin 100 of ITE chip is the GPG2 input for strap resistor, and RE44 (10K) is connected to +3VALW_R.

Also pin 100 have a pad to move the strap resistor to gnd.

With RE44 connected to +3VALW_R, there are pulses in pin 1 and 5 of bios chip, but has no pulses in pin 2.

Pin 6 has pulses also but seems they are distorted and with low peak to peak voltage.

Bios chip is seems ok with the external programmer. It can be read and write without errors.

Diode mode readings of pin 6 is .244 but pin 1,2 and 5 are .469

I will check the spi bus rails and post new findings.
