I got this laptop Lenovo X230 but there is no sign of life it won't turn on and there also no lights burning.
Whats the first step to look for a Fuse maybe?

hi, nay my friend fuse isn't first thing you have to do, first you have disconnect battery, second reset bios, third disconnect all hardwares, then after that try understand what is happen in real... Go ahead!

viewtopic.php?f=58&t=6140&start=40 (ctrl+f "x230") then you'll see in that page link for download (Lenovo ThinkPad X230 Wistron LDB-2 Bios dump SPI1(8MB) + SPI2(4MB)) download it and you need use programmer, i think when you will read bios file you'll understand which you need update ;) (i never did't update this laptop bios but i think socond (spi2) one is multiprocessor bios file so you need update (psi-1))

I've programmed both bios chips but no luck, still no lights or any sign of life

Try check the all Standby power controllers, may be some controller is heating? problem is can be everywhere, start check from power jack till 5.5v controller (it is weakness of lenovo) and charge controller, i think problem is can be there, take the tester and check for short circuit too....
