hello i have an Acer Aspire 5733Z that turns off after exactly 5 minutes after pushing the power on button. it dose not overheat, so please no posts regarding cleaning the cooling system. what i have don until now: Flashed 3 versions of different BIOS + EC changed the BD82HM55 with new one tried with different CPU Changed osscilators Y1,Y2,Y6 and X1 Any other ideas? thank you |

What do you mean? Do you want me to read the bios and ec and post here the dump? I don't understand. Sorry. How to clear ME? |

ok. remove RTC battery and Flash bios from mail. After connect RTC battery. |

thank you again. it worked like a charm. just for me to understand...after first boot it writes some data on the EC rom? is there any way to manually clear the ME, if i have a previously read EC rom? |
