ok guys , i have some nasty laptop v5-572g here with dead motherboard

motherboard is shored, when charger is plugged in i get 2.2V instead of 19v

i have taken out resistor PR45 , measured resistance to ground and i got like 240-300ohm on one side. i wanted to test the voltage, but i was stupid and the pu9 controller burned. i have replaced it with the same model
returned pr45 resistor and again i had 2.2v in the board

i have measured on +3.3valw and +5valw mosfets and ive seen that the voltage gets up to 2.2v and then drops to 0 and every 2 seconds it would go up to 2.2v and then dropped.

my thoughts were that the integrated RAM memory 4gb is defect. i have removed coil PL13 but when i plugged in the charger i got full shorted and charger went out, i had to discharge him and return coil pl13 back, then i got 2.2v again.

i have removed pq48 and pq55 but same shit

does anyone have any clue what else to do? what to test, what to remove and test?

problem is that i had acer boards which were all connected via coils ( all power circuits) and i could simply remove coil and detect where the short is.

i do not know what to do here.
please help me couse i want to repair this motherboard and gain knowledge.

i have found this board schematics: http://elektrotanya.com/acer_aspire_v5_ ... nload.html

try this:
1. when charger is plugged in and you got 2.2V instead of 19v, find(use your finger) the hot or warm component on the motherboard. if there is no hot or warm component do below:
2. by injecting a voltage(with external adapter, 3V 3A is enough, more Ampere may cause component got burnt) to VIN. by this way, please do this carefully, your finger may burnt a little.

ok i have soldered external power supply and pq9 got epicly hot and chips around him. since this happens on almost every motherboard ( the chips at start heat up and the short is somewhere else ) i have removed pq9 and soldered wire on his output and put 3v 0.5A inside and got low heat at ram chips, i put 5V 1.7A max inside and the ram chips got heat up a little bit more.

so the soldered RAM is shorted? how can i fix this?

anyone*?
