Hi, this laptop have problems with lcd/hdmi image. It have the kbc in short circuit, but replaced with a new one. (damaged by a problem with the flex cable) I have reprogrammed the kbc with data extracted from main bios. (from 2 different dumps) Bios chip has the last bios update from MSI website. (E17C1IMS.10B.BIN) Operating system loads fully from ssd, and also boots from usb pendrive, but with no image at all. Can someone share the schematic or point me in the right direction in order to solve the problem? Thanks in advance. |

(hwinfo32 and other utils does not detect it, only intel gpu) The problem now is that discrete gpu does not work. The gpu is powering by a six phase circuit that feeds it with .9 volts. The xtal near gpu Y8 (27 Mhz) has a god oscillation signal. All other voltage on mothrboard seems correct, except for those 2 coils near to cpu. (pl12 and pl15) (both are .22uH) Those coils seems to feed the internal graphical part in cpu, but if it is a little estrange. If someone has some comments it will be welcome. Thanks. |

Some more research: The signal DDIB_LANE0_DP going for Display Port connector comes from cpu pin K36 as some other signals for Display Port. (see MSI MS-16J51 schematic) Display Port is not function on this mobo, so is it possible that both problems have something in common? Вложение: Display Port.PNG
