I not found swollen capacitors in board source . If you only connect the monitor displays on the monitor screen the message "Check Video Cable" until everything right. The problem appears when I connect the monitor to your computer, simply blanks the screen (screen goes black) and led the power button flashes. Typical problem of the graphics card, right .. Electrolytic capacitor can be solid or firmware error? |

if program eeprom and not ok... resold vga port .. change cap on mainboard |

I think is firmware problem. I had an almost similar problem, just mine said Check Signal Cable even connected to computer. Just after i re wrote flash memory, he started to work well. Rewrite of eeprom hand no result, just flash rewrite took him back to normal. |

I tried to put the monitor on the vga output port of the notebook and even then the notebook can not detect the external monitor. I notice that the dedicated video card chip is a little warm (I think with unusual heating). Could the 24C08 memory of the video card be causing this heating on the chip? |
