Hello,
After flashing this Repeter (N300 Repeater WN518W2-B1) sold by Conrad Electronics with wrong firmware over GUI (FW from older model with 3 LEDs for example), the device will get bricked.
To debrick it, open the case and unsolder the EEPROM smd chip E2516WS1 (U19).
Using EEPROM programmer flash FW from eeprom_WN518W2-B1_RptW-B1.344.20130713.NOhw_fwc.bin from attached archive to the EEPROM chip (for example in multi programmer TL866 use chip from EON EN25B16 and disable ID check).
Then solder the EEPROM back to the PCB and you are done!!
MAC addresses and WPS PIN in this FW are:
MAC1: 80:3F:5D:93:41:F1 MAC2: 80:3F:5D:93:41:F2 MAC3: 80:3F:5D:93:41:F1
WPS PIN: 96504367
Default IP Address 192.168.10.1 (if does not work use 192.168.10.233)
Default login: U: admin P: admin
If you need to change MAC and WPS PIN data they are at following addresses in above .bin file (use HEX Editor):
MAC1 at addresses: h'6007 - h'600C MAC2 at addresses: h'600D - h'6012 MAC3 at addresses: h'6013 - h'6018
WPS PIN at address: h'648A-h'6491
Вложение: WN518N2_debrick.zip
Cheers zibi
