I bought the card 2 weeks ago with vcore issue. I left it aside because of my customer boards. Yesterday card just worked fine, did some tests and i can say it was working flawlessly but tried just now and vcore is missing again. VDDQ,VCCSA and VCCIO is present. PWM Controller is ISL95856HRZ, checked with the thermal camera nothing is getting hot or missing components around. Bios twicthes when i start the board. The weird thing is when i left a drop of alcohol on controller, 1 V appears on VCORE but reset did not release. Changed the resistors and capacitors around the controller but nothing have changed. Have you guys any idea ? |

there are many options, one of them: CPU socket could fall off |

sergun I dont think cpu socket could not be problem of no vcore issue. |

The oscilloscope see 8,11.4 PIN, a logical analyzer (if any), check the SMB tire 43.42 PIN. |

alex68q pin 8 is 1.05 V pin 11 is 3 V pin 4 is 3.3 V |

alex68q i could not see impulses on each pin you said, only straight dc voltage. I also checked with ac on oscilloscope nothing impulses. |

Тимур Кан The reset of pcie is 0 v. CPUPWRGD reaches to IO when pwm present but cpu reset is 0 not released. When i set the triger mode, all signals pulse once and goes back to straight DC line. Also #Alert pin is active, shows 0 volts when pwm present. I can get pwm 1 v with a droplet of alcohol on pwm controller. |
