Hi i have a Asus P7p55d 1156 motherboard which turns on but no image on the screen... I reprogramed the bios and motherboard starts but it is stuck at first asus logo splash screen...Although it needs at least 20 seconds before screen shows up... I have tried every combination of components...replaced cpu,ram,gpu same problem... I have even replaced pch with new one and same problem... This board has a led diods for cpu,ram ,pciex and stnby activity...I have noticed that cpu and memory led switches back (cpu-mem-cpu-mem-cpu-mem) to many times before pci_ex and screen initialization...All vital voltages are present...Post codes are usually different always... I was thinking about replacing sio but any help would be appreciated... |

if you have a logo but no loading, it's a problem of the periphery, see post code the stop and compare it with the latest code of the manufacturer of the BIOS. Problem with SIO , I don't think. |

No no i removed all peripherals,just basic stuff...cpu,memory and gpu...it is stuck...i can not enter the bios...if i am fast enough with f2 button for bios setup, it goes to the screen before bios where the hardware info is written but it is stuck there also and nothing is shown after cpu speed ... |

If you tried all that at this point you may have some dead-short smd component. See if your mobo is getting hot, use some 97% alcohol! |

I resolved this board ...I replaced ic in picture and board works fine now... |
