I have this z97 board, part of a lot I bought .... the seller said a lightening kill the board through ethernet. I do not trust what people says, but this time it seems that something kills the ethernet controller (dead short).
Anyway, I remove the controller but the board is still completely dead. So, I am throubleshooting PCH and EC chip .... from what I saw, 3,3v was present on both ...

Does anyone remember the correct sequence wiht a z97 chipset?
What about pch voltage? Is it required any other voltage but 3,3v?

Could someone explain to me why I find differences between power sequence in various documentations?

They are from different board with difference SIO e PCH, but, I tought the sequence was time same ...

saronno Well, I have say Asus boards with embedded TPU always rise up SLP_S3#, S4# before PWRBTN# if u run 'em the 1st time after u replace or remove 2032 battery. Like, Z77, Z170, Z270, Z370. I checked it out on Z77-V, -V-Pro, Z87 SaberTooth, Z170-A, rog strix Z270E, -F, -G, Z370F, -G boards. If bios/uefi 'd run correctly and the board got initialized, SLP_S3#, SLP_S4# would rised up after PWRBTN#. Why Gigabyte painted it like that I dunno).
