I have this z97 board, part of a lot I bought .... the seller said a lightening kill the board through ethernet. I do not trust what people says, but this time it seems that something kills the ethernet controller (dead short). Anyway, I remove the controller but the board is still completely dead. So, I am throubleshooting PCH and EC chip .... from what I saw, 3,3v was present on both ... Does anyone remember the correct sequence wiht a z97 chipset? What about pch voltage? Is it required any other voltage but 3,3v? TIA

Could someone explain to me why I find differences between power sequence in various documentations? They are from different board with difference SIO e PCH, but, I tought the sequence was time same ... Here ... ASUS you press the power button ... then you have S_SLPS3# and S_SLPS4# from pch to SIO. Gigabyte ... SLP3# and SLP4# come before you press the power button !!?!? Wistron ... same as ASUS Asus training material .... consistent with pwrbtn before SLP_S3# and 4 My guess is gigabyte is wrong.
