Hi.. Could someone please tell me how to edit or read the vscc table in AMD bios ? I have a bad 74m12jwsiq chip on nm-d521 board, it's a rpmc chip and I want to check the table in the dump for all rpmc supported chips is it possible to disable rpmc to support regular non-rpmc chips ? edit: the original 74m12jwsiq throws errors while verifying but still the board starts with it, while a fresh dump with a regular 25q128 chip won't give a start at all.. |

It turned out the chip is good  on the EZP programmer with 1.8v adapter the chip is not detected, manually select W25Q128FW(1.8v), DO NOT USE AUTO FUNCTION ! Manually erase -> write -> disconnect and reconnect the programmer -> verify and it will verify successfully  for how to check supported chips in AMD bios, it turned out to be easy... using UEFITool the supported chips will be found in SPIFlashProDXE or just search text "winbond" and check with hex view closing.. |
