I also used Console Mode and got the error message, I attach. Please help me to overcome this issue. Also, I would appreciate if you could, from your side, try ECFinder with my above attached EC dump file and post the output file if any. Might be that some DLL files needed are failing in my system, though no specific error displayed. |

I used it but unfortunately no change, superviser password is always requested. I find strange that my EC dump shows 128ko of size, before and after flashing the new dump ? P.S As EC size is not clearly readable on the chip, I got 512ko from a schematic, I also wrote the 256ko dump posted by mainvod to no avail. |

It turned out that the correct size of the it5261VG chip in my case is 256kb. So I reworked out the R1BET81W.zip [7.78 MB] dump you posted on the base of 256kb and got a file of 256, whereas the original backup dump file is only 128kb how to explain that ? Is the EC chip failing, not reading the correct size of it's integrated bios ? |
