Good Day Experts. I have an Asus N56JN rev2.0 which works fine only on adapter but wont charge,. When charger is connected charging led is lit but battery is not charging and battery keeps draining until its dead.. without battery there is 2.56 volts on battery +connector and 3.3v on battery scl sda pins, acdet 2.5v when battery is connected it takes 0 amps via bench PSU which means not charging. bq24735 replaced but no help. anyone can shed a light and guide me into right direction, Thanks

When creating a topic, you must indicate the model of the motherboard. what about the input mosfets? take measurements on bq24735 and post it. |

Thanks for replying bq24735 has below voltages chg acn 19.1v chg acp 19.1v chg cmsrc 19.1v chg acdrv 19.1v chg acok 3.1v chg acdet 2.25v chg iout 0v sda, scl 3.3v ILIM 0.872V BATDRV 2.29v srn 2.29v srp 2.29v chg lg 0v regn 6v bst 5.8v chg hg 2.25v chg lx 2.29v vcc 19.1v Thanks in advance. |

Input mosfet means the 1st mosfet where the adapter voltage comes in..? if yes that i have replaced. before the mosfet there was no charging led. after the mosfet charging led came on but still not charging.. or you mean some other mosfet. what can i do..? Ow thats right about the city. have you visited any other places .? |

ruzalit Кстати да. Для этого чарджера пределы acdet 2.4 - 3.15в, единственное, acok тогда не должно быть, если acdet "неправильный". Ну и правильный acdet никак не залечит пробитый мосфет на входе. |

I guess i have written it wrong. acdet is indeed 2.65v.. replaced both input mosfets but still the same. 2.55v on battery+. |

На 20 vcc выводе чарджера номинал резистора pr8842 в пределах 10 Ом ? Снимите временно защитную сборку PD6001 |

I have replaced 2 diodes near the bq735 and took out 1st input mosfet and bypassed with a wire. now i do see 11.20v on bat+ pin and battery is also charging since its now at 95% from 7%.. But..now..if i remove the adapter it still says connected and charging while adapter is not connected. 2nd.. windows not updating battery percentage so seems like it only charhe when its off. Its still the same yet symptoms at above Posted after 17 minutes 57 seconds: A windows reinstall fixed charger detection issue i guess now it does not give false charger connected. it does charge but in wondows it does not change the percentage. everytime i connect disconnect charger or restarts the laptop then it shows the actual percentage but its not updating in windows |
