Measure all the voltages on all the coils after switching on.
Are you understand that if any of these voltages is not presented, laptop would safety shutdown.

Hi all.Yet another laptop that cuts off as the power button is pressed. When you press the power button, its led is lit and after 2-3 seconds the laptop cuts out. Same issue with and without battery. Also same issue when the MM is out of the laptop's housing. I have also reballed the GPU but same issue. Testing few coils I think one is short. I get shorts at both points when testing. You do not need to replace coil. Measure resistence on all coils and write down here. Also see mail |

Ok, when using a multimeter and testing the coil itself: PL202: 0.2 ohms PL204: 0.2 ohms PL401: 0.2 ohms PL305: 0.2 ohms PL303: 0.2 ohms PL701: 0.2 ohms When testing from ground to coil: PL202: 15.2 ohms (sometimes to 18ohms) PL204: 179.2 ohms PL401: 1.55 kilo ohms PL303: 65 ohms PL305: not stable. Starts from 1 mega ohms down to kilo ohms then to ohms then back up to kilo ohms PL701: 0.5 kilo ohms |

you need check which voltages are power up (RAM - 1.5V and 0.75V, 5V/3.3V, APU, CPU core FCH core and so on). |
