it can be made by Flash Image Tool (more simple way). Hex - more universal way.
I will not write a full instruction.

Hi. There is Asus K43SV brought for charging problem. I was auto switching on when plugging power jack so I suspected to BIOS. I picked up Bios chip and after creating back up write new BIOS file( K43sv Rev 3.0 from this website), so in verifying part I saw error, changed chip by new and similar one, and this time I can write file on chip. after solder new chip on the MB, there is no display!!! so I write back backup file to new chip and again no display!!!! first problem is charging issue, and we have bigger problem!!!! I think I must use exact revision number to write bios( or revision is not important?) |

One of my friend mixed Dumped BIOS with 2MB BIOS taken from ASUS Website, then programmed it and we have display and everything works ok( except charging). Any one knows about this method? |
