Is 5Volt Present on all usb ports ?
Usb Data is connected directly to the PCH/Bridge ... for every port you will find an IC with 8 legs... its responsible of conducting 5Volt to USBs .... check them

Hello if someone can tell which chip is USB 2.0 controller-hub on asus x541uvk 2.0 board because laptop working perfect except not recognize anything in usb 2.0 port only usb 3.0 devices on USB 3.0 port. please inform about chip so i can replace it. |

Yes i have 5volt on both usb port (1 x usb 2.0 and 1 x usb 3.0) On usb 3.0 port when connecting usb flash 3.0 working perfectly. But when i connect old flash usb 2.0 doesnt working. So i m sure like other motherboards that a sub 2.0 hub-controller exist but i dont have schematic so i can find it , only boardview |

Check Data Pins Resistance To Ground on the USB 2 Port |

On usb 2.0 port i have resistance PIN 3 (USB PP3 CON IO) and when i connect flash usb i have 0.20 volt on this pin. i show on boardview that usb controller connected with cpu chip and i made rework. Now usb 3.0 port works perfect on both usb 2.0 and usb 3.0 flash but the usb 2.0 port nothing. |

change CPU if u have low resistance on USB data-line to the ground |
