Hi, this laptop came from another failed service, main problem was short of 19v to PSID and system stopped charging the battery..
PSID line checked there is 1.1v on the line, PD1 was low in resistance, the previous service installed 10K on PR1 and 100K on PR5 instead of 33ohms/2.2K
Everything was replaced:
PD1 "TVNST52302AB0" replaced
PQ1 "FDV301N" replaced
PQ2 "MMST3904" replaced
PR1 = 33ohms replaced
PR5 = 2.2K replaced
PR3, PR6, PR4 checked and in normal range..
The line became 3.3v, charger still not detected/unknown (I don't have an oscilloscope to check data exchange)
if the laptop is turned off charging led goes on and the battery is charged, if turned on the charging led goes off and charging stops..
Tried multiple working adapters..
Bios & EC firmware updated, no change..
Removed PL3 and everything in the PSID line except PR1 & PR5 and soldered a direct line from the central pin to PR1, still no change
PSID pin#16 on KB9022 = 10K ohms
where to dig ?
edit: bios & ec firmware updated by official update
