Hello,
This board came from a failed repair attempt with symptoms of turning on for 3~5 seconds then off, opened and found 2 missing DrMos chips (PU5201 & PU6101) on +VCCGT & +NVVDD1, I don't know what originally happened there..
Put 2 new chips and the board started with the following:
without RTC battery: Turns on / off / Turns on again and keep going on
Fans runs at full speed
Consumption @ 19.5v = Dancing between 1.0A ~ 1.8A then fall to 0.900A (time from start to stabilize = 17 seconds)
+VCC_CORE = 1.0v @ 2.3 ohm (SR32Q) then fall to 0.66v after 17 seconds
+VCCGT = appears after 17 seconds 0.69v and keep on, resistance is 4.3 ohm
+NVVDD1 = 0.77v @ 0.3 ohm (N17E-G1-A1)
without the cooler, the CPU boils to shutdown before the stabilization while the GPU barely heats-up..
no post card in hand, without RAM the LEDs blinks for RAM codes..
The suspect was the GPU, I doubt 0.3 ohms are normal for this chip right ?
it consumes 0.700A from the LB @ 0.80v and no heat was noticeable
I've inspected the chip under the microscope and found 2 micro-cracks in the corners so I can declare it dead, right ?

Now I'm fighting to convert it to UMA and need some help..
Removing GPU power PL6101/PL6102/PL6103 & PL801 has no effect except on the power consumption which dropped..
removed PU6000 - nothing
followed the schematics and moved GPU_ID RH551 to RH552, RH553 to RH554
replace SKU_ID RE125 with 10K
replace Board_ID RE13 with 10K
moved Phase_ID RH547 to RH548, RH549 to RH550
moved DGPU_PWR_EN RH129 to RH127
still nothing..
Bios flash clean / official.. nothing
any help ?
should i remove the chip and try or something wrong in converting ?
