initially the B + capacitor (100uF / 450V and tny277 were burnt out. Replaced them and also the 470uF / 10V capacitor of the 12V line. The TV comes to work but after a while the source is on and off. Note a heat generated by the source . Either it has another faulty component besides the main capacitor and the tny277 or some board is consuming current beyond normal. After changing the capacitor (100uF / 450V) from the primary input and also from the tny277pn the tv was running for about 7 minutes or so when there was a burst and smoke coming from the primary capacitor (100uF / 450V) and the tny277pn burned out. . I decided to replace these two components and the two photocouplers (IC950 and IC951) again. Now the tv does not start even when I put a 1K resistor on pins 10 and 12 of the CN902 connector. Where should I examine the tv to find the problem? The voltage on top of capacitor B + C920 is 180V when it should be around 380V |
