Hi,
I have an RTX 2080 in reference design on the table. According to the owner, the card had a short in the fan area.The owner tried something on the card during operation. According to the postcard, the card gets stuck at 2A. I found and replaced two dead 0 ohm resistors next to D3. There is no short on the 0hm resistors. Error still remains. Does anyone have a boardview or schematics for the card? I would also take a screenshot of fan control. Of course I would also pay for it.

The power supplies are all ok and supply all voltages.

who is the manufacturer of the video card?
take a photo of the section with resistors.

It is a Palit card, I can take pictures tomorrow.

Unfortunately I don't know the pinout from the connector.
That's why I once measured the 4-pin fan connectors that are plated through to the 14-pin connector.

I have replaced the two 0Ohm resistors but this was not successful. The old ones were broken.

What do you want to know from fan control? i have now on table palit rtx 2070 it looks very similar..

on your cards pin where you measured 4ohm should be kohms there is your short..

I am looking for the circuit. on a 1080 the "FAN TACH" pin goes from the fan to the GPU and to a diode direction 3.3v. Is it the same with the 2080?
