hello everyone, this card was used in mining for a while, then used for games, until it started presenting artifacts, when disassembling the VGA, I noticed that the chip had a bubble, it is likely that this is the reason for the defect, or it should investigate other reasons (bga and memorys) |

Thermal shock on the printed circuit Board of the GPU itself (bloated bubbles ) GPU 999% for replacement. Who warmed it up or sealed it overheated with a high temperature ! |

it's very bad... but, we have hope!!! try change memory banks u2600, u2700. |

aleksros писал(а): but, we have hope!!! try change memory banks u2600, u2700. You mean replacing then with new/from-another-card memory banks, yes? (and NOT swapping them?) Resolution on the photo seems to be 1024x768, since for 1024x768 every screen line occupies 1024*4=4096 bytes and polaris amd memory has a mapping with period of 0x800=2048 bytes, and we can visually see that every screen line contains exatly two regions with a problem (like 0x600-0x7FF and 0xE00-0xFFF). The visually damaged region size is 0x200, which corresponds to a pair of modules on amd polaris (consequtive 0x100 is a single module). So two modules looks problematic, not one, so swapping looks questionable... |

I was the one who changed the gpu and I'm sure this bubble was not there, this chip was from a rx570 used in mining (I don't know how far it influences) but the board worked for 45 days normally (it's my property), until it presented rtefatos, when dismounting I noticed the bubble formed. aleksros писал(а): it's very bad... but, we have hope!!! try change memory banks u2600, u2700. It is good to know that in this possibility, I will make the replacement, even if only for study reasons! I'll bring the result here! |

hello guys, so replace the memory modules with donor parts but it didn't work, I believe the bubble is causing the artifact. it would really solve it by replacing the gpu, but I don’t have it at the moment, I’ll leave the topco open, because when I replace the gpu (I don’t know yet when I will get one) I’m going to inform the result. |

hi guys, I believe it is the end of the case, I got a gpu from another Rx80 that had a lot of damage to the PCB, and the chip so far is working well, without artifacts until then, I will be testing the artifact all week. Thank you all for your help. |
