helle there. i have here a RX VEGA56 with strange issue... no picture at all, but all voltages on inductors are OK, GPu getting warm, but no picture :( with a secondary graphic card in a system so that i can boot into windows, i can see the GPU with error 31 (no drivers) in device manager, but when i will install driver - system gets freezed and after a few seconds monitor goes to standby (its still connected on secondary card, also no pictures when i connect monitor to VEGA56) i have reflashed the bios, but error still exists. What can here happened? |

When loading, it slows down to 2A? |

hello there, 2A ? no. When the card was in the USB PCIe Riser without connected USB, but all power connected - the card will draw 1,2A @ 12V when the USB cable is connected, so this card is as secondary card on a test motherboard, it will draw 3,1A @ 12V - from start to windows. But when i install the driver - i get a freezed system and the current draw goes down to 310mA, FAN is also stoped on vega card. an other thing: this card is reference PCB design, so it hase this GPU TACH feature on it (LEDs) - but no one LEDs lights up at any time. Voltages messured on the card are all OK. 0.8V, 1.8V, 0.9V VDDCI, 0,9V VDDC, 1.2V MVDD, 5V, 3.3V...all voltages fine. Also all rails are fine when i looked with oscilloscope. |
