Hello there. i have a Palit Dual RTX2080TI here with strange issue...card wont dedect, also not in Windows with secondary graphic card, and on USB RiserCard it draw only round 1,5A@12V. All VRMs works fine, no mosfet report a fault, 5V and 1.8V present, up9512P PGood is high - but gpu still seems to be in reset state. I think gpu isnt become the vrm ready signal, but how/where can i check this? GPU is only slowly warms up, but not too much.

its a reference design pcb. any tips for me?

take a photo of your card, write on the chokes resistance and voltage

this one choke with 0V is - i think - normal. I think it's the load balancing system i heard from several teardown videos...or not?

about the lower 3 memory modules - i have desoldered it because one of them was already swapped, and so i was able to check the solder pads and the memory itself in diode mode - all 3 modules are ok.
Card was also not started without this 3 memorys.
draws only round 1,6A@12V without heatsink

wash the crystal is not clear crack or thermal grease

Search visually and with mupltimeter beeps where the trace goes from the PCIE_RST (A11 on the PCIe connector).
On some cards it goes directly to gpu, on the others it goes to some logic IC (5-6 pin typically), and that IC output goes to the GPU.
PCIE_RST goes high (3V) to enable GPU, measure it.
If the logic IC is present - measure it's output voltage. This IC is often dead.

ok, i have check where the A11 trace goe to, but i cant find anything (with multimeter beep). it Goes from A11 directly into the lower layers of pcb, and i have beep out every logic IC - but cant find the signal. possibly it goes direct to gpu?

i have also trace the pwgood signal from up9512p PWM controler - it goes to an 5 pin smd ic (similar to sot23-5 but smaler) an have only writen "L2" on it. PCB mark is U39 (front site of card)

I guess I'm necroposting here, but did you ever figure out what was wrong with the card, or where A11 connected to?
