hi guys, the card is a gigabyte gtx 960, there was a shorted mosfet, removed mosfet, when connecting only to the pci express of the motherboard the card asks to connect the "pci power cable", when connecting the Pci power cable ext, as voltages do not rise, I only have 12v, 5v and 3.3v, I would like a help to understand where the PCI ext power is monitored and if it is possible bypass, if there is no way to repair it.

can you post here images of your board? i'd wish i can find datasheets and possibly find how it actually might detect itself being -1 phase and wont power up.
