hello, is it possible to add DVI connector to non DVI 1080TI, Add the connector and populate the missing parts. Anyone did this ? |

it's possible but much easier to use DP to DVI converter |

thanks. I tried to use active DP-DVI adapter, but it works at max 70hz at QHD resolution. It's not that hard to solder a connector from a damaged board... |

it's not so hard but useless. DVI output limitations for most of videocards is QHD - 70Hz or WQHD - 60Hz. So don't spend your time, you'll not get more |

who told you that ? I used QHD 110hz on dual Dvi on nvidia 770TI, Nvidia 1080, Nvidia 1080TI |

for any crazy guy like me who still use DVI: be careful that except adding parts that are near video out connectors you also need to add a 1k resistor that's under GPU chip. Posted after 2 hours 36 minutes 29 seconds: anyone knows what's the fan controller chip on reference 1080TI ? Fans are not spinning. |

Fan controller it's GPU. If fan not spinning - check 12v and pwm pulse from gpu. |
