Reseated mosfets low and high side, everything remained the same. There was no discoloration beneath.

All resistances looking ok. All voltages correct except memory, it's 0v. Mosfets test ok. Replacing RT8816A controller didn't fix the problem. Enable voltage and VCC 5v present, Vref not present. Anyone had similar case? |

Have same problem not once. Bad contact of mosfets. Remove , wash and stay back. |

After replacement of RT8816 for the second time got Vref refin 2v and 1.5v and output low 120mv. At least some improvement. |

Replaced original high side mosfet with 4c10N, voltage jumped to 3.5v OVP didn't do anything. Maybe low side mosfets were faulty too and couldn't short excessive voltage. Overall I did burn memory and gpu likely. |

What resistance do you have on the memory rail now and what resistance was before? 3.5V means that you did something bad with the voltage feedback. It can happen when a user spills a water on the resistor divider and if he has a bad luck he can kill everything on board. |

0 Ohm resistance on memory now, before was 100 ohm. I didn't touch any resistor, it was weird case from the beginning. Gigabyte sucks. |

I remember I killed one board by myself, you are not alone. In Nvidia card 0 ohms on VRAM means probably also dead memory controller inside your GPU. Sad but true. I had also a dead card, 1070 Ti if I remember, with Micron memories and a resistance was around 36 ohms. Very suspicious, but after an hour it degraded to 3 ohms and a high side mosfet had blown away. This time it was not my fault. The card was already dead. After I removed all memory chips the GPU still had 12 ohms on Vmem. I removed GPU, replaced mosfet and all voltages are OK now

Out of curiosity I removed all 8 banks and inductor, resistance remained 0. Gpu dead :( lesson learned the hard way. |
