Yes, I know. MSI has different design and it is hard to use MSI for Sapphire. |

I also got Sapphire R9 390 and the fuse on PCIe slot was blown along with drmos for memory controller. Drmos was partially bad, it had 80 ohms instead of a short. I replaced both but I don't have memory, memory controller and vcore voltages. I found that on the input 1 of the AND gate there is no high state, please see attached image. How is it formed, where does it come from? Anybody has experience with this board? One more question, maybe somebody knows? I replaced IR3553 in memory controller (resistance ~50 ohms) before but it did not work and this card went on hold. Yesterday I took this card and discovered that a diode inside the IR3553 is dead because boot voltage was 1.4V and this diode (from the attached picture) had a drop of 1.5V in both directions. This diode gives a voltage drop of 0.7V. OK, I replaced this chip again for the last one I had and this last chip became very hot. I had two of them from a local seller on Ebay. Is it possible they were fake? |

From IR3567B (11) VDDC_PG (O) on two ways: 1) To U1000 (1) VDDC_PG (I) -> from U1000 (4) VDDC_POK (O) -> to IR3567B (12) VDDC_POK (I) = VDDC. 2) Through Q355 + Q356 -> to NCP5230 (14) EN (I) = MVDD. Now this is my current repair - I'm trying to figure it out myself... |

Thats why, one of the conditions for the appearance of the singal VDDC_PG (11) is the presents VDDCI (not VDDCI, but correctly installed DrMOS). Unlike 400-500 series, for 300 series EN for MVDD is the same as VDDC_PG. |
