Good morning
I hope my English is pretty good.

I have an xfx 470 8gb with black fans, received from a friend, who tried to change his bios, but unfortunately did not save a backup to the original bios.
I took the original bios from another identical video card. I uploaded it using the ch341a program
But the video card does not have clock and memory in windows or in hiveos (linux)

1) PCIe x16 @ x4 (GPU-Z)?
2) vBIOS patched (memory timing)? If "Y" - use Atikmdag patcher (Apply + Reboot).

1) - I tested the video card on two motherboards, In the first and second slot x16
2)- I used and Atikmdag patcher, restart pc (the same problem) restart 2 time (the same problem) .
3)- I re-installed and the windows 10 again maybe something was a blocked driver. I reinstalled the windows 7 maybe i don`t now, maybe work on windows 7 but no...
4)- I bought another identical video card rx 470 xfx , I extracted the chip (fm25q02), Before soldering, I checked the bios with ch341a. I soldering the chip, reinstall driver again restart pc...restart pc again, i try atikmdag patcher ...restart again...
5)- :(

I have the original bios for xfx rx 470 8gb from xfx support. i try this bios and no results.

I wanted to test the memories with the "tserver" program. but the video card cannot send a signal to the monitor. Can it be tested through the integrated video card?

i try tserver with intel graphic integrated. I don`t have display signal when i plug the hdmi cable on gpu (rx470).

I have at least two cards with it. Senior forum members here say it can be memory 1 or 2 and it may give this kind of errors. Iw ill test it tomorrow. This is probably such stupid response of the tserver on the error of the first vram.

Аналогичная проблема с MSI RX480 8Gb - перепробована куча биосов,но все безрезультатно.
Пред история карты - небыло питания памяти и гпу. Восстановил питание на память, вышибло 1 сдвоенный мосфет (М3816N) в 6-й фазе питания гпу (с небольшим прогаром). Заменил все мосфеты и драйвера (CHL8510),а так же ШИМ IR3567B на ASP1300. В 6-й фазе снял драйвер+мосфет+дроссель. По сопротивлениям\напряжениям\ШИМлениям все, вроде бы, в порядке.

RX480 8Gb - a bunch of bios have been tried, but to no avail.
Pre-history of the card - there was no power supply of memory and GPU. I restored the power supply for memory, 1 dual mosfet (M3816N) was knocked out in the 6th phase of the gpu power supply (with a slight burnout). Replaced all mosfets and drivers (CHL8510), as well as the IR3567B PWM with ASP1300. In the 6th phase, I removed the driver + mosfet + throttle. According to the resistances \ voltages \ PWMs, everything seems to be in order

I tried reflow memory bank but nothing change. Do you think it's worth reballing them? or will i waste my time ?
The problem with reballing is that I have a 0.40mm balls no 0.45mm.... work ok with 0.40mm ? :))

Проблемы с памятью ,в первом канале ,были на другой карте RX570, НО при этом в GPU-Z было гораздо больше параметров, чем на скрине в предыдущем моем посте. В предыдущем моем посте, в GPU-Z видно, что параметров очень мало. Сравните 2 скрина:

Just pay for access, $99 by paypal, it is worth it :-) You will have access to all files.
I don't know if it is worth to reball but definitely this error is somehow related to the bank 1 or memory in general. I can't tell whether it is bank 1 or not. I reflowed some cards until today and many came back to life. First clean under the memory, add flux and reflow.

One RX580 with typical memory artifacts stopped displaying picture after the VRAM reflow and now I have 5555555 in the whole bank 1, both chips. But at least Tserver reports it. It was artifacting card.

На этой RX480 мало параметров в GPU-Z и не помогает реболл памяти и перезаливка БИОСа

Глянул только что скрин ваш - скорее всего в вашем случае всё же нужно смотреть канал А (реболл\замена)
А вот в моём случае считаю, что не гпу и не память причина неработоспособности карты.
Пересадил ГПУ с заведомо рабочей RX470 - картина точно такая же.
Пересадил заведомо рабочую память Hynix 4Gb - без изменений :ny_tik:

I just looked at your screen - most likely in your case you still need to watch channel A (reball \ replacement)
, but in my case I think that it is not the GPU and not the memory that causes the card to malfunction.
I transplanted a GPU with a deliberately working RX470 - the picture is exactly the same.
Transplanted obviously working memory Hynix 4Gb - no changes

У вас вБИОС не вычитывается - видно на скринах. У меня у самого такая беда на красной и на зелёной - так и не победил. Да и подсказать никто не смог...

Вот тут полностью с Вами согласен.Склоняюсь уже давно к этому мнению, что по каким то причинам не вычитывается биос. На первой ноге БИОСа висит 2,75В - на рабочей карте 3,3В - пробовал искусственно подать 3,3в - получилось (путем замены R35, если не изменяет память, на нулевик) - при этом ГПУ перестал совсем определяться. Предположение, что он "в аварии" (а вот по какой причине, это не известно!) и поэтому не дает каким то образом делать, либо "полную вычитку" (осликом смотрел, даже при наличии на первой ноге флешки 2,75, вычитка со 2,5 ноги идет) БИОСа либо еще что то....

Подобная проблема Asua RX570 gaming. Не отображалась частота ГПУ и памяти. Нашел сбитый резистор нулевик под позиционным положением PR157. После восстановления резистора все работает корректно.

Добавлю по поводу этой ошибки.
Попалась MSI Armor RX 570 4gb, все сопротивления в норме, кроме питания памяти (0ом, память Hynix). Снял всю память - прозвонил (максимальное сопротивление у одной из банок 22Ом) у гпу сопротивление пришло в норму, заменил память - поставил с донора (не уверен в памяти, предварительно измерил сопротивление), запустил tserver и получил Error Framerwork AK600.001. Попробовал прогнать скриптом dmgg - показал на 3 и 4 банки, соответственно 3 и 4 банку заменил (именно заменил), далее dmgg показал "пасс", tserver прошел нормально и показал "пасс", карта стартанула.
Надеюсь кому-то поможет.

I have exactly the same problem now, on my table.
RX580 Asus O8G DUAL. Someone before me unsoldered the bios chip, put there a random content, tried to repair memory voltage, and he did a big mess on the board. The memory rail was 1-2 ohms.
It was memory number 1 shorted, immediately visible on the thermal camera, next I got picture and voltages with a lot of artifacts. Memfa still reported bank D0 and D1 so replaced the second memory and the picture came back.
Memfa runs to the end but there are artifacts and errors during AK600.001.
First part of memfa AK403 passes, all banks are clean but it gives 55555555 errors on all banks during the second part of test AK600.001.

There are strange artifacts on the memfa. Background with small squares and foreground does not look as it should.
