Всем привет.

On the back of this card there is GS7260 which does not start and this card is not detected.

Has anybody PDF pinout for the GS7260?
What is this voltage for? How many volts should there be? The resistance on the choke is 18 ohms but this small resistor 0402 R900 is warm.
I simply don't know where is "Enable" on this chip. Is there any schematic similar to this card?

All voltages on the top are working and only this one is missing.

In the morning my brain works better :-)
This board is similar to the MSI V.381 rev.2.0. Even the boardview has the same component placement and markings as far as this bottom area is concerned. This hot resistor should be 1 ohm but I have at least a 100 ohms and resistance is not stable. Below there is suspicious cap with discoloration. I will replace and give feedback later...

Posted after 4 hours 40 minutes:
Yes, the capacitor was shorted and the resistor was bad. I replaced both and it works now hehe :-)

These 0 to 2.2 ohm resistors are very useful because they act as a fuses. We would have a burnout here. They expect that capacitors get shorted. This hot resistor changed into 100-200 ohm resistor so the capacitor did not glow. They should do it on each phase not only for powering the chip but for the main 12V rail on each phase.

installation of resistors is possible only where there are small current consumption. in many cases they are not installed because a large current is needed and then the size of the resistor will be very large. with an increase in size and the ability to hold more current, the purpose (of the fuse in this case) is lost.
that's why they don't fit everywhere. :nez-nayu:

On the 12V side they put a fuse 10A * 12V = 120W. They should split it among 4-6 phases. On the 12V side the current is small and 0 ohm 0805 would be more than enough even if not smaller like 0603 for security. We would never had "progarov" :-)
