Hello repair guru team,
I would like to ask you for and help with the GPU repair. I got this GTX 970 EVGA card with damaged vcore VRM. I analysed the card and discovered damaged mosfets and shorted mosfet driver. I removed one VRM phase (X marks) and ordered new mosfets for second part (O mark). Then I discovered broken drop down support voltage 1.05V regulator (marked with O) so I replaced it.
then card staretd to be alive - vcore ok, vram voltage OK and support 1.05 voltage OK. Card is running without 1 VRM phase, because Iam not able to find mosfet driver as replacement. I can see the picture without issue or glitches. After few minutes card goes to black screen, vcore drops to almost 0V and no picture. After the PC restaret, I can see the picture again but lead time for black screen is much shorter. Card is not overheating, its not in the load (just desktop), bios has been flashed with programmer, gpu-z shows no problems. Can you please help me to idnetify what can be the root cause? Is thi an issue with the GPU core balls? Can I somehow find out what caused crash?
Since is already 3rd card which I revived from dead to this statement, I would like to progress little bit more.
Thank you fellas and sorry for English.
