So as the title says, this GALAX RTX 3070 came with damaged GPU chip. The ram chips are Samsung K4Z80325BC-HC14. I found a donor chip which came from EVGA 3060TI. This one is the LHR version, the GA104-202-A1. I ran NVMT with no error on it's soldering. Tried different BIOS from different manufacturer and the problem persist. MATS shows B1 and C0 Write error. Im sure it has to do with the impossibility of the chip to reach those ram chips, mostly because of a bad BIOS config. So i'd like to know what could be the issue? I replaced ram chips with new ones and the problem persist. Thank you!

3060ti chip does not work correctly on 3070 PCB because the data pads of memories B1 and C0 are in another position, I did the same experience here also with Samsung memories, maybe with memories from other manufacturers (Hynix and Micron) the board can work usually, but that's really just a guess.

I ended up returning the graphics card because of what jeffersonsilva998 said. Eventually the chip aint compatible with the board. VRAM pins mismatch :za_da_va_la:

Numa configuração de strap para 16gb samsung talvez esse chip funcione nesse PCB, outra alternativa seria tentar os straps de micron (3060ti GA104 pelo menos existem 2 tipos de configuração para MICRON, um nesse PCB estilo fouders, outro para PCBs que normalmente vem com o GPU da 3070, porem esse teste eu ainda não fiz.)

If you open a 3060 and a 3070 in boardview, you will see that the data pins of memories B1 and C0 are inverted, but all other channels are the same, that is why there is this bug when you try to place this chip on that PCB
