Hello human creatures,
I hope you are doing well.
I have this card, GTX TITAN X 12GB https://www.techpowerup.com/review/nvid ... n-x/6.html
The card seems to run fine but there is a glitch in memories for some reason when the drivers starts to get applied in windows.
In linux apparently it just ignores that error, as the card has 24 Memory chips, it is hard to get the correct memory replaced without guessing, so I thought to ask the question before start my guessing process.
Which one is A1 or B1 (usually for this generation we counted from the first A1 and then we go anticlockwise from the GPU) but with double faced memories I have no idea how to count it.

Hello. Channel counting on double-sided cards is exactly the same, but it has two memory modules in each channel: one at the one side and another at the other side right under it. After running MATS you can determine specific module by comparing failed bit from mods.log with card boardview. For example, you learn, that D016 has been failed and card boardview will show which module connected to it exactly. Otherwise, if boardview isnt available, you can replace both modules, but that card have gpu issue most likely.

Thanks a lot BrasilBack man,

I have actually find my way by disassembling it, so basically you are correct about A1 is on both sides A1 but the bits to where they go was a bit tricky, here is a disassembly for A1 and A0 i think it applies to the rest.

The back of the card addresses:
A0 from 00 to 07 and from 16-23 == 16
A1 from 40 to 47 and from 56-63 == 16

The front:
A0 from 08-15 24-31 == 16 (both sides = 32)
A1 from 32-39 and 48-55

I think this applies also to the rest of the channels, but I would like to make sure before I say something, once I do the rest I will let you know.

Much appreciate your input.

I updated the message so its clearer

All my best,

Just to make sure we are on the same page :) the above information I could not find anywhere on the internet but above.

My question to the experts, what would cause mats to fail badly when the clock is higher for memories (mats passes 12gb test with default boot clocks, but when clocked at full bios clock the memory tests fails, but interestingly one channel does not fail at all, E0 )??
